Staff In The Home

mikeandjudy.jpg

The Home is staffed 24 hours per day and a Registered Nurse is always on duty.   A second Registered Nurse is also on call and available to support the Nurse on duty.   Each service user is allocated a ‘Named Nurse’ as a key care supervisor; s/he will be responsible for co-ordinating your service plans.   One member of the care team, called your ‘Key Worker’ will have your needs especially in mind.   S/he will do everything possible to make your stay enjoyable.

All our staff are actively involved in a programme of continuous professional development, including Levels 2, 3, 4 & 5 NVQ training.   All staff are entitled to at least three days paid in-service training per annum.

The Home subscribes to a policy of diversity with regard to equal opportunities for all its existing and potential staff.   All staff are cleared with the Criminal Records Bureau.

At times, temporary staff need to be employed to cover sickness or absence.   Only agencies which have supplied the correct information and are registered under the Nurses Agencies Regulations 2001 are considered.
